H&M Studio has launched an innovative mini summer capsule, spotlighting beachwear crafted from regeneratively grown cotton. This limited-edition collection includes two maxi dresses, two kaftans, and a matching top and skirt, each piece made from Regenerative Organic Certified® cotton. The capsule will be available starting June 4.
Embodying a holiday spirit, the H&M Studio mini summer capsule merges a sense of wanderlust with an emphasis on exquisite craftsmanship. The standout piece in the collection is a pale sunset-hued strappy maxi dress adorned with intricate floral appliqué detailing, creating a tactile yet delicate effect. This dress is designed to evoke the serene beauty of a beach sunset, making it perfect for both casual and semi-formal summer events.
Equally captivating is the black halter-neck maxi dress. With its elegantly flared skirt and spaghetti strap ties, this dress offers a sophisticated yet relaxed silhouette. The subtle drama of its design makes it versatile enough to transition from daytime wear to evening elegance.
The collection also features two kaftans, providing stylish options for beachwear. The first is a short black-and-white printed kaftan adorned with a playful starfish pattern, ideal for casual beach outings. The second is a longer, tiered white sheer dress, exuding a breezy elegance perfect for layering over swimsuits or wearing on warm summer evenings.
Adding to the capsule’s versatility, the co-ordinating bralette and flared skirt set stands out with its embroidered abstract appliqué swirls in a warm apricot shade. This set is designed to be mixed and matched, allowing for a range of stylish, effortless looks that are perfect for summer.
Each piece in the collection is made using Regenerative Organic Certified® cotton, a sustainable alternative that is grown without the use of artificial pesticides or fertilizers and contains no genetically modified organisms (GMOs). This farming practice is committed to animal welfare, soil restoration, and enhancing the lives of farmers.
“With this capsule, we aimed to create an edit of throw-on-and-go holiday looks that can take you from the beach to drinks on the terrace to dinner al fresco. Versatility and durability are key concerns for our design team, and they were determined to create the ultimate summer dress our customers will be reaching for year after year, in a high-quality cotton that conforms to Regenerative Organic Certified standards,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, head of design womenswear and creative advisor at H&M.
Johansson further emphasizes the importance of sustainability in modern fashion, noting that the use of Regenerative Organic Certified® cotton is a significant step towards more environmentally friendly clothing.
