Blackpink member Jisoo takes the cover story of Vogue Hong Kong Magazine‘s June 2024 edition lensed by fashion photographer Park Jong Ha. This is the first time the K-pop superstar has graced the cover of Vogue Hong Kong. In her exclusive interview, the multifaceted artist opens up about her experiences, personal growth, and the unique connection she shares with her fans. Reflecting on her recent visit to Hong Kong during a world tour, Jisoo fondly remembered celebrating her bandmate Jennie’s birthday with fans and indulging in the local cuisine. Although her schedule was packed, she managed to experience some of the city’s renowned dishes, including a memorable meal at a popular seafood restaurant with fellow band member Lisa.
As she approaches a significant milestone – turning 30 – Jisoo reflected on her personal and artistic growth since debuting at 21. She feels she has matured significantly, learning to balance her personal and professional life effectively, embracing both successes and challenges with confidence.
Jisoo also discussed her passion for acting, a field that allows her to explore and express a range of emotions more deeply than ever before. Describing her personal style as minimalist and clean, Jisoo mentioned her preference for simple outfits complemented by distinctive accessories, with rings and watches being her current favorites.
With summer approaching, Jisoo enjoys spending her free time outdoors, embracing the beauty of nature, and finding tranquility in simple moments like sitting on a bench, enjoying the breeze. This shift from indoor relaxation to appreciating the outdoors marks a refreshing change in her leisure activities.
