adidas unveiled an exclusive collection for the theatrical release of Marvel Studios’ “Deadpool & Wolverine,” in U.S. theaters on July 26. This collection features a combination of adidas Originals and performance footwear and apparel, inspired by the third film in the iconic franchise starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. Fans of both Marvel and adidas are in for a treat, as this collection is the first Deadpool-inspired offering from adidas, combining elements from the anti-hero and Wolverine into fashion pieces.
The adidas | Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine collection is a mix of adidas Originals and performance products, featuring two themed Rivalry Low shoes, an adizero Electric cleat, graphic tees, and an adidas Originals silhouette worn in the film, which will be unveiled on July 26. The collection captures the characters with color blocking and distinct detailing that follow Deadpool and Wolverine’s iconic looks.
One of the standout features of this collection is the playful and humorous design elements that reflect Deadpool’s personality. The Rivalry Low and adizero Electric cleat include tongue-in-cheek jokes on sock liners, censored language characters, and storage pouches, nodding to Deadpool’s excessive use of pouches on his costume. The Wolverine-inspired Rivalry Low shoes are equally fun, featuring color blocking that pays tribute to Wolverine’s classic yellow Super Hero suit. This look makes its in-film debut in the movie.
