Christian Dior‘s eternal dream of travel finds a new expression in the Dioriviera collection, crafted by Maria Grazia Chiuri. This vibrant line is an ode to the joy of venturing away. Chiuri has reinvented the collection, bringing forth a sense of spontaneity and freshness that captivates. At the heart of the collection lies the timeless toile de Jouy, celebrated by Chiuri and revisited in two unique versions: Toile de Jouy Sauvage and Toile de Jouy Soleil. These designs feature sketches of nature and constellations of suns, rendered in a palette of refreshing shades. The color spectrum ranges from navy to coral, aquamarina to powder pink, and lemon, creating an array of dresses, skirts, blouses, and tops that embody a summery, carefree spirit.

The Dioriviera collection extends beyond clothing to include a range of beachwear and accessories. Ponchos, foutahs, pareos, and silk scarves, adorned with these captivating prints, complement the apparel. Iconic motifs like the houndstooth pattern add a touch of elegance. The collection also reimagines the Lady D-Lite and Dior Book Tote bags with these vibrant designs, and the Lady D-Joy bag receives a unique wicker reinterpretation. The Mediterranean elegance is further accentuated with sailboats, straw hats, Dior Sun leather sandals, and Dway mules redesigned as platforms, all subtly enhanced with the “Christian Dior” signature.

In addition to fashion, Dioriviera brings a touch of luxury to summer living with Dior Maison essentials. Yoga mats, parasols, deckchairs, and a selection of delicate decorative objects, tableware, and embroidered cushions all contribute to a sweet way of life tinged with farniente and lightness. These pieces transform any setting into a serene retreat, perfect for summer relaxation.

This is gorgeous!!! I love dior capsulle collections way more ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Okay, seriously, I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about Maria Grazia Chiuri at Dior, but you’ve got to admit, she really owns it. Her stuff, especially these capsule collections like Dioriviera, totally captures what Dior is about but with her own twist. It’s like she takes the classic Dior we all respect and just flips it, making it super relevant for now.
Like, this new collection? It’s all beachy and fresh but still has that luxe Dior touch with the toile de Jouy prints—she’s not just sticking to the safe old patterns but shaking them up with colors and designs that feel right out of some dreamy, stylish summer. And don’t get me started on the beach accessories and that wicker D-Joy bag…. it is soooo cool!
I get why some might not be into her style, thinking it’s too much of a departure, but come on, fashion is about evolution and personal expression, right? She’s doing something different and exciting, and it’s about time we had some fun with what fashion can be. Plus, it’s Dior………..everything is made with such an eye for detail and quality. Honestly, even if you’re not a fan, you’ve got to respect the creativity and boldness she’s bringing.
maybe you could read a bit more about the 60 euro bags and dior sweatshops?
I agree it is important to talk about this and dior needs to make amends
