Rolling Loud Europe made its much-anticipated debut in Vienna, Austria, marking a significant milestone in the festival’s ten-year history. Set against the picturesque Austrian countryside, this event was more than just a music festival; it was a cultural phenomenon that brought together fans and artists from across the globe. Celebrating “10 Years of Rolling Loud,” the festival featured an impressive lineup of international and European talent, delivering a weekend full of high-energy performances and unforgettable moments.

Despite the unpredictable weather, including heavy rain on the final day, the spirit of Rolling Loud Europe remained undampened. Thousands of fans braved the elements to witness some of the biggest names in rap music perform live. The festival’s commitment to showcasing a diverse array of artists, coupled with its high production values and vibrant atmosphere, ensured that Rolling Loud Europe 2024 was a resounding success.
Day 1
As we arrived at the festival grounds on the first day, the anticipation was electric. The Austrian countryside provided a stunning and unique backdrop for Rolling Loud’s European debut. The sprawling fields were transformed into a vibrant festival village, bustling with excited fans from all over the world.
The highlight of the day was Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday” set. Seeing Nicki perform live was a dream come true for many fans. As the sun began to set, the atmosphere grew more charged, and when Nicki finally took the stage, the crowd erupted in a wave of cheers. Dressed in her signature pink attire, she delivered a performance that was nothing short of spectacular. Classics like “Super Bass” and “Starships” had everyone singing along, and the production—complete with pyrotechnics and elaborate visuals—was top-tier. The sense of unity among the fans, all there to celebrate the Queen of Rap, was palpable and incredibly moving.
Earlier in the day, we had the pleasure of seeing Gunna perform. It was one of his first European festival appearances in years, and he did not disappoint. His smooth, melodic flow was the perfect warm-up for the night ahead. Other artists like Ski Mask the Slump God and Ken Carson also brought their A-game, delivering high-energy sets that showcased the diversity and dynamism of the festival. Local talents like Anycia and SadBoi helped set the stage for Nicki’s grand finale, while Europe’s own Shirin David and Austria’s Money Boy proved that the continent has no shortage of rap talent.
Day 2
Saturday continued the festival’s high-energy momentum. Playboi Carti headlined, and his performance was one of the most electrifying we have ever witnessed. His “VAMP” energy was infectious, and from the moment he stepped on stage, the crowd was in the palm of his hand. Tracks like “Magnolia” and “Sky” had everyone jumping and shouting along, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
The undercard for the day was filled with rising stars and established names alike. Lil Tjay and Destroy Lonely delivered standout performances, while Homixide Gang kept the energy levels high with their dynamic set. One of the most fun performances of the day came from JELEEL!, whose infectious energy and interactive performance style had everyone in the crowd dancing.
European talent continued to shine, with Germany’s Reezy and Belgium’s Fresh Lapeufra bringing their unique styles to the stage. It was a fantastic reminder of the diversity and talent present in the European rap scene. Day 3
The final day of Rolling Loud Europe was bittersweet, as the realization that the festival was coming to an end began to sink in. However, the line-up promised a grand finale, and it delivered in every sense. Travis Scott headlined the night, and his performance was nothing short of legendary, from the moment he stepped on stage. Travis performed a mix of his greatest hits, from “Sicko Mode” to “Goosebumps,” and each song was met with thunderous applause and singing from the audience.
Despite the heavy rain that began to fall midway through the day, the spirits of the attendees remained undampened. Ponchos and umbrellas appeared as if by magic, and the crowd’s enthusiasm only seemed to grow. The rain added a unique element to the festival, creating a sense of camaraderie among those who braved the weather to enjoy the music. Throughout the three days, we witnessed some of the best performances in hip-hop, experienced the vibrant culture that surrounds Rolling Loud, and connected with fans and artists alike. Rolling Loud Europe proved the power of music can bring people together and create lasting memories. As we packed our bags and left the festival grounds, we knew we had been part of something truly special, and we look forward to the next chapter in the Rolling Loud story.
