PUMA and Skepta are once again collaborating on a new iteration of the Skope Forever sneaker, building on the success of their initial release earlier this year. The new colorway, known as “Beige Black Ice.”
SNEAKERS
The Skope Forever sneaker, which debuted in May 2024, was inspired by early 2000s footwear trends and featured an iridescent colorway that quickly gained popularity. The latest version shifts to a more subdued and versatile aesthetic with a tonal “Beige” base, enhanced by “Black Ice” accents. The sneaker combines mesh and nubuck overlays, giving it a textured, layered look. Chrome details, including a badge on the tongue featuring the PUMA x Skepta logo, add a touch of luxury to the design.
This sneaker is not just about looks; it’s built for performance as well. The design includes a chunky black midsole with a chrome shank at the midfoot, offering both stability and style. The shoe’s functionality is further supported by a cushioned midsole. Additionally, there’s a glow-in-the-dark pattern on the upper, although images of this feature have yet to be revealed.
Skepta’s partnership with PUMA is part of a broader collaboration that also includes a range of apparel and accessories, all reflecting the artist’s unique style. This ongoing collaboration has allowed Skepta to apply his creative vision to PUMA’s sportswear legacy. The new colorway of the Skope Forever sneaker will be available starting August 24, 2024, at a retail price of $200, through PUMA’s website and select retailers.
