The color palette showcased on the runway was a delicate mix of soft pastels and vibrant hues, evoking the feel of a Parisian garden in full bloom. This blend of colors was accentuated by the use of luxurious fabrics, such as floral jacquards, lace, tulle, chiffon, and an eye-catching multi-color floral chine. Each fabric choice brought a sense of luxury and movement, reflecting the fresh and light mood of the season.
Embroidery played a central role in the collection, with floral motifs, feathers, paillette fringe, crystals, and linear embellishments adorning many of the pieces. A standout detail was the poetic embroidery of Charles Trenet’s lyrics from “Le cœur de Paris,” which appeared on both a butter yellow tulle cocktail dress and a powder blue tailored suit. These French lyrics added an extra layer of storytelling to the garments, blending fashion with the spirit of Paris in a way that felt personal and romantic.
One of the most captivating pieces from the collection was a crystal floral 3D petal cocktail dress that shimmered under the runway lights. Another highlight was an embroidered fringe and pearl wedding gown, complemented by an organza cape made of marabou and ostrich feathers. These intricate details showcased Pamella Roland’s attention to craftsmanship and her ability to create pieces that stand out for their artistry.
Roland’s Spring 2025 collection is, at its heart, a love letter to Paris.
