Production has officially begun on the highly anticipated Peaky Blinders feature film, marking an epic continuation of the acclaimed gangster saga set in the tumultuous streets of 1900s Birmingham. Cillian Murphy reprises his role as the iconic Tommy Shelby, in a film written by the series creator Steven Knight, who also serves as a producer alongside Patrick Holland, Cillian Murphy, and Guy Heeley. The production is being undertaken in association with BBC Film.
Steven Knight, the visionary behind Peaky Blinders, expressed his excitement: “I’m thrilled to see the cameras rolling on this new chapter of the Peaky Blinders story, set during World War II.
