Italian fashion house PUCCI steps into the winter season with a vibrant new offering: the Iride Puffer Jacket. Guided by Camille Miceli’s creative direction, this piece reimagines the classic puffer with bold patterns drawn from the brand’s rich archive. Balancing functionality with artistic flair, the jacket brings the spirit of Pucci into the colder months, ensuring style remains uncompromised by seasonal demands.
The Iride print, first introduced in the 1970s, draws inspiration from the intricate patterns within an iris, offering a visual complexity that resonates with Pucci’s heritage of vibrant expression. The print’s polychromatic layers, characterized by concentric arches and dynamic color combinations, inject new life into the puffer design, transforming it into a wearable piece of art that embodies both nostalgia and contemporary vibrancy.
Miceli’s approach to the Iride Puffer highlights the importance of color in the brand’s identity. Four distinct shades have been curated for the collection, ensuring each piece exudes warmth and personality while maintaining versatility. Whether dressed up for the streets or styled for winter escapes, the jacket provides a bold statement for colder climates, promising an energetic antidote to neutral-toned outerwear.
The campaign, captured by the renowned fashion photographer Johnny Dufort, reinforces the playful and psychedelic ethos that Pucci is known for. Top model Alex Consani brings the piece to life, embodying the spirited movement and fluidity that the brand consistently explores. Through Dufort’s lens, the campaign captures the jacket’s adaptability, showing how it navigates effortlessly between style and function. In charge of styling was Jacob K, with casting direction from Piergiorgio Del Moro at DM Casting, and creative direction and production by Al Dente. Beauty is work of hair stylist Lukas Tramler, and makeup artist Min Kim.
Available through Pucci’s online store and select boutiques, the Iride Puffer Jacket offers a refreshing alternative for winter dressing.
