Samuel Ross, the visionary behind A-Cold-Wall, is making a major return to fashion with a new partnership with Zara. After stepping away from his streetwear label last year and selling his stake to Tomorrow Ltd in February, Ross is ready for a fresh start. This time, he’s expanding his reach with a line that balances high design with wider accessibility, offering his signature look through a new label called “SR_A Engineered by Zara.”
After parting ways with A-Cold-Wall, Ross focused on a range of creative projects, from artistic endeavors to consulting for major brands like Beats by Apple. He quietly launched SR_A, a high-end menswear line, in September, taking a more exclusive made-to-order approach. Now, teaming up with Zara marks a significant step, as he moves from exclusivity to mass accessibility while maintaining his unique design ethos.

The partnership will introduce biannual collections, allowing Ross’s work to reach a much larger audience. This isn’t just about bringing designer pieces to the masses—it’s also about Zara’s ongoing push to elevate its image by collaborating with high-profile designers. Similar to how Stefano Pilati recently joined forces with Zara, these collaborations aim to create an elevated yet affordable aesthetic, meeting the growing demand from consumers for accessible luxury.
Samuel Ross’s new journey with Zara will launch with the first collection in 2025, and fashion fans everywhere are eager to see how Ross’s vision will translate into this more accessible format. It’s a chance for the wider public to experience his distinctive take on menswear—one that champions creativity and pushes the boundaries of what high-street fashion can achieve.
