To celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Patrimony collection, Vacheron Constantin introduces a new self-winding limited edition timepiece, created in collaboration with French designer Ora Ito. As a “One of Not Many” campaign talent, Ora ïto brings his minimalist and timeless design philosophy to this luxurious creation, marking a significant milestone in the Patrimony line.
WATCHES
This new edition, limited to just 100 pieces, pays homage to Vacheron Constantin’s rich history in watchmaking, blending vintage aesthetics with modern craftsmanship. The 40mm yellow gold case houses a tone-on-tone gold dial adorned with concentric circles, creating a subtle visual ripple effect. Inspired by the 1950s and 1970s, this piece fuses sleek, monochrome styling with refined details, including hour markers, curved hands, and a “pearl” minutes track, all crafted in yellow gold.
At the heart of the watch is the in-house self-winding Calibre 2450, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. This high watchmaking movement features intricate details such as circular graining on the mainplate and a Côte de Genève pattern on the bridges. The openworked gold oscillating weight showcases Vacheron Constantin’s iconic Maltese cross, enhancing the watch’s prestige.
“Vacheron Constantin’s history is dotted with timepieces in which the quest for thinness holds pride of place. Our rich archive remains an inexhaustible source of inspiration for our contemporary creations. It is very important that our designers, when working on future products, can maintain the precious link between our heritage and our current collections.” – said Sandrine Donguy, Product Marketing & Innovation Director Vacheron Constantin.
Ora Ito, known for his “Simplexity” design concept, finds a natural connection with the Patrimony collection’s understated elegance. His influence is seen in the burgundy calfskin strap, which features graphic motifs inspired by the 1970s, adding a bold contrast to the watch’s circular geometry.
The limited edition Patrimony is a perfect blend of simplicity and hidden complexity, celebrating Vacheron Constantin’s tradition of refined craftsmanship while pushing the boundaries of modern design.
