ARCHITECTURE
On Friday, November 15, 2024 the event kicks off at the prestigious Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall located at Trg Stjepana Radica 4, where attendees can register starting at 11:30 AM. The day promises a series of engaging lectures beginning at 1:00 PM with José María de Lapuerta discussing innovative architectural solutions, followed by TEN Studio, Rob Adams and the dynamic team from Elementarna. The evening will transition to the Oris House of Architecture at Kralja Drzislava 3 for the highly anticipated exhibition opening featuring Kengo Kuma’s Minamisanriku 311 Memorial at 7:00 PM.
On Saturday, November 16, 2024 activities resume early at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall with registration reopening at 9:00 AM. The day’s schedule includes a recorded lecture from Tadao Ando, a pillar in contemporary architecture, starting at 10:00 AM. The program continues with presentations from Carlos Martínez de Albornoz and the presentation of the Oris Keraterm Award to Kengo Kuma for his influential work in the field. The day also features a roundtable discussion titled “Alpine Contrapposto” and insights from Vedina Babahmetovic and Dinko Peračić, highlighting a broad spectrum of architectural discourse.
