For Pre-Fall 2025, Diesel is all about denim, as the brand leans into its iconic material with a fresh and experimental approach. The collection introduces a new “fluid denim,” along with other fabrics treated to resemble denim, creating a focused edit that highlights Diesel’s subversive spirit. The Pre-Fall collection also serves as an opportunity to translate Diesel’s catwalk concepts into accessible pieces, bringing high-fashion ideas to a broader audience.

Creative Director Glenn Martens describes the collection as a complete exploration of denim. “This is a collection about everything in denim, from tailoring to footwear, or pieces treated to seem like denim. The archetypes of denim should be more than just five-pocket jeans: we wanted to push the boundaries and possibilities of our hero fabric,” Martens explains. The collection certainly delivers, showcasing fabric innovations that prove Diesel’s ongoing commitment to reimagining denim in unexpected ways.
One of the standout elements of the collection is the introduction of fluid denim. This lightweight fabric features a surprising drape, used for roomy tailored jackets and pants, padded zip-up jackets, and oversized shirts that can be worn in multiple ways. Fluid denim adds versatility to the pieces, with garments like a long lightweight denim skirt paired with a leather jacket featuring a trompe l’oeil of a cargo jacket. The focus on this fabric gives the collection a fresh take on everyday denim, blending utility with playfulness.
The influence of Diesel’s SS25 runway is clear, with scarves and wraps making a significant impact on the Pre-Fall designs. Linen knit tops and skirts feature attached scarves, while wrap dresses combine different weights of jersey for a dynamic drape. Diesel also plays with trompe l’oeil effects, using printed denim on jersey dresses and creating wrap ties at the waist to enhance the visual depth of each piece. These details bring a unique and layered approach to casual yet sophisticated dressing.
Psychedelic graphics also make an appearance in the Pre-Fall collection, printed on a variety of garments, from minidresses to tracksuits. One particularly notable design is a tessellation of different graphics arranged like parquet flooring on tops and skirts. The collection also incorporates bold prints, such as camo and animal motifs, adding a playful edge to Diesel’s signature denim. Highlights include vinyl jackets and skirts adorned with gecko prints, padded jackets with kitten graphics, and tea-dresses with duckling designs.
In line with Diesel’s sustainability goals, the Pre-Fall 2025 collection continues the brand’s efforts to increase the use of regenerative and lower-impact materials. Men’s shirts are crafted from eco-friendly fabrics, and all beachwear features recycled or sustainable materials. Denim booties with faux shearling lining, loafers, and sock-boots round out the footwear offerings, while the accessories range includes the new Double-D bag and a collection of eyewear with surreal, organic forms.
