Ziggy Chen Fall Winter 2025.26 collection, Voleisure, offers a serene yet purposeful approach to modern life. The name combines “volition” and “leisure,” reflecting a balance of intent and relaxation. Inspired by traditional wooden architecture and watercolour art, the collection explores contrasts between the solidity of wood and the fluidity of ink, resulting in textures and colors that evoke harmony. A palette of light green, olive, khaki, deep brown-red, black, and grey-blue ties the natural and urban together, creating garments that feel adaptable to both environments. Photographer Sohom Das captured backstage moments at the Ziggy Chen Fall Winter 2025 show, exclusively for DSCENE Magazine.

Natural fibers such as wool, cashmere, cotton, linen, and hemp form the backbone of the collection. These materials are presented in their pure forms or paired in innovative ways, such as cashmere-linen outerwear and cotton-linen twill resembling denim. Jacquard patterns inspired by Chinese wood carvings and the organic shapes of watercolour art add dimension to cashmere sweaters and outerwear, offering a tactile and visual richness.
With relaxed silhouettes and thoughtful details, the designs prioritize wearability while maintaining an understated elegance. Whether navigating urban streets or natural surroundings, the collection resonates with those who prioritize mindful style and comfort. The designs go beyond mere aesthetics, embodying a philosophy of calm and simplicity. Voleisure encourages a shift toward effortless living, presenting garments that exude quiet elegance.
