
Fashion house Coperni unveiled its Pre-Fall 2025 collection, a tribute to the origins of digital subcultures, celebrating a time when basements transformed into sanctuaries for a generation discovering the internet. The collection draws from the raw energy of the late ’90s and early 2000s, when budding hackers, gamers, and tech enthusiasts found community and identity in digital spaces. The campaign, a nostalgic ode to this formative era, spotlights these digital pioneers while infusing a modern sensibility.
For the first time, Coperni introduces male figures into its campaigns, embodying the unisex ethos of the brand. Actors Baptiste Exarchopoulos and music producer Sega Bodega join models Heija Li and Freya Nutter in a staged basement hideout. Captured by fashion photographer Stuart Winecoff, the group shifts between gaming consoles and computer screens, blending leisure and exploration. This setting acts as the perfect backdrop for a collection that is both a celebration of individuality and a commentary on how digital culture reshaped identity.



The Coperni Pre-Fall 2025 collection itself is a study of contrasts: garments oscillate between adventurous utility and understated elegance. Multi-pocket pants and jackets stand out as functional staples, tailored for adaptability in a fast-paced world. Technical details, such as integrated pockets and convertible elements, reflect the hybridization of real and virtual life. Sweaters are casually tied over dresses, and polos are reinterpreted with deconstructed elements, allowing wearers to experiment freely.
Accessories play an important role in emphasizing the collection’s techno-chic narrative. The belt – a recurring Coperni signature – takes on multiple roles, from a garter to a harness, depending on the context. Its fluidity mirrors the tangled cables of a computer setup, underscoring the collection’s thematic cohesion. The «C» logo transforms into a necklace, serving as both a minimalist design element and a clever structural detail. Meanwhile, bionic flowers made of electrical wires subtly decorate pants, injecting a futuristic yet poetic charm into the garments.
