Solid Homme Fall Winter 2025 collection brings the concept of transformation to the forefront, exploring how the modern man’s wardrobe evolves from the office to after-hours settings. Creative Director Woo Youngmi takes inspiration from the energy of unwinding, crafting a wardrobe that transitions from structured workwear to a more relaxed, personal style. The collection reflects a balance between conformity and individuality, offering a fresh take on how formal attire adapts in informal environments.
This season, the corporate uniform is reinterpreted to express freedom and creativity, without completely abandoning its roots. The collection plays with elements of Yuppie culture, reimagining its symbols with a contemporary attitude. As the symbolic layers of professionalism are shed, a more genuine expression of self emerges.
The collection takes its color palette and mood from after-hours environments, such as the vibrant and gritty charm of jazz bars. Deep burgundies, vintage reds, muted greys, and rich browns form the foundation, punctuated by pastels and royal blue that add flashes of energy. Textures play a key role, with satin, velvet, tweed, and moleskin combining to create depth and intrigue. Standout pieces include a satin coach jacket in vivid red, a silk cravat in deep burgundy, and vinyl record-printed shirts that nod to music culture. Velvet tracksuits, soft yellow silk shirts, and coordinated denim sets blur the lines between formal and casual, offering a wardrobe that reflects modern versatility.
Solid Homme reinvents classic tailoring through subtle details and innovative combinations. Stone-grey suits are paired with soft, silk shirts, while oversized cardigans with multicolored yarn add a relaxed touch to pleated trousers. Double-layered chenille cardigans with cravats in neutral tones embody the balance between refinement and ease. These styling choices create a thoughtful narrative of “Dress-Down Fridays” redefined, where workwear adopts a playful yet sophisticated edge. Accessories such as argyle socks and crochet ties complete the look, reflecting an attention to detail that emphasizes individuality.
The collection’s palette evolves from cool tones to rich, warm hues, mirroring the transition from structured daytime looks to relaxed evening styles. Textures add another dimension, with velvet and tweed lending weight to the designs, while satin and silk introduce movement and shine. These elements come together to create a wardrobe that feels contemporary yet steeped in a sense of personal expression.
