Todd Snyder, the Global Creative Director of Woolrich Black Label, unveiled the Fall Winter 2025 collection, “Ice Fall,” during Milan Fashion Week. Drawing inspiration from the raw beauty of Northern Europe’s volcanic terrains and glacial expanses, the collection offers a 60-piece lineup that channels the serene power of untamed landscapes.

The collection highlights the interplay between rugged utility and refined elegance. Key pieces include an oversized down parka adorned with a tie-dyed glacier print and a relaxed field jacket constructed from waterproof, triple-layer bonded wool. Snyder introduces a contemporary spin on Woolrich’s iconic buffalo check shirt by weaving reflective fibers into the fabric, ensuring visibility and style. The water-repellent nylon cargo jacket, featuring a frozen lake motif, underscores the collection’s balance of function and artistry.
“Ice Fall” continues Woolrich’s legacy of merging high-performance design with luxury aesthetics. As Snyder explains, “The collection continues our ‘Rugged Luxe’ story, combining very technical silhouettes normally associated with being outside in extreme conditions and luxurious organic fabrics that were specially re-engineered to withstand the elements.” This synthesis of practicality and luxury, which Snyder describes as “clothes that embody a sense of ‘wanderluxe,’” caters to urban explorers and outdoor adventurers alike.
The Woolrich Black Label Fall Winter 2025 collection owes much of its distinctive appeal to its groundbreaking textiles. Snyder collaborated with renowned Italian mills such as Olmetex, Limonta, Bacci, and Majocchi to craft fabrics that elevate the functionality and sophistication of outerwear. Highlights include 100% cashmere lumberjack shirts that offer warmth without compromising elegance, a seam-sealed Foul Weather Parka designed for unpredictable climates, and Italian moleskin field jackets.
The introduction of X-Pac luggage demonstrates the collection’s technical power, offering lightweight yet resilient travel solutions. These materials exemplify Snyder’s approach to design, as he seeks to push the boundaries of what technical fabrics can achieve in terms of both form and utility.
The color story for “Ice Fall” takes inspiration from nature’s understated palette. Shades such as Meteorite Black, Oyster Mushroom, and Cardamom Seed dominate the collection. To balance this restraint, Aurora Red accents punctuate select pieces, injecting vibrancy and energy.
