AMBUSH and UGG have collaborated to redefine corporate footwear, introducing a playful twist on classic designs. In their first joint venture, the Tokyo-based fashion house and the iconic Australian brand have reimagined traditional Mary Janes and Penny loafers. These staples of formal and semi-formal attire have been transformed into cozy statement.

Yoon Ahn, co-founder and designer of AMBUSH, expressed her intention behind the collaboration. She aims to infuse daily life with comfort through a creative rethinking of familiar styles. “I’ve always been a fan of Mary Janes and loafers,” Yoon said. “With UGG, I wanted to craft a more relaxed version that could adapt from a casual look to something more dressy without sacrificing style.”

The collection’s standout, the fuzzy Mary Jane, is available in pink and white. These shoes feature a full-body fur exterior and are distinguished by a heart-shaped metal tab that locks across the top of the foot, enhancing their plush design with a playful detail. On the other hand, the revamped penny loafers feature a multi-toned fur interior and underlay, capped with a traditional leather saddle. This design is further enhanced by a removable, fur-filled heel, creating a versatile profile.

The AMBUSH x UGG line combines comfort with a distinctive aesthetic, capturing the innovative spirit of both brands. These redesigned classics introduce a new way to enjoy UGG’s renowned comfort and warmth, enhanced by AMBUSH’s modern influence.

Scheduled for release on February 21 at 9 a.m. PST, the AMBUSH x UGG collection will be available through both brands’ web stores. The loafers are priced at $225 USD, while the Mary Janes are set at $250 USD.
