JOOPITER announces The World of Kim Jones, an exclusive auction featuring pieces from one of fashion’s most influential designers. Running from February 27 to March 11, 2025, this sale brings together rare fashion, art, and design objects from Jones’ personal collection, along with one-of-a-kind samples and prototypes from his tenure at Louis Vuitton, Fendi, and Dior.
Jones offers a glimpse into his creative world, presenting items that define his legacy in fashion and his collaborations with cultural icons. The auction includes rare pieces from Nike, Travis Scott, Hajime Sorayama, Hylton Nel, Amoako Boafo, and FRGMT, alongside garments from Maison Martin Margiela and Helmut Lang. Each item reflects his sharp eye for style and innovation.
A portion of the auction’s net proceeds will support World Land Trust, an international conservation charity focused on protecting vital ecosystems. Kim Jones, deeply moved by reports of wildlife decline, emphasizes the urgency of taking action. “Reading that the wild vertebrate population has dropped by 73% since 1970 made me realize I had to contribute. Through JOOPITER’s platform, I’m auctioning pieces that hold personal significance to support World Land Trust and its mission to safeguard biodiversity,” Jones explains.
Pharrell Williams, founder of JOOPITER, recognizes Jones’ ability to connect the past and future through fashion. “Kim has a rare gift – he understands that true luxury is rooted in culture. He’s not just designing clothes; he’s creating opportunities for artists to collaborate and be part of a larger movement.” JOOPITER CEO John Auerbach adds, “Kim’s influence extends beyond fashion, shaping contemporary culture across music, art, and literature. His vision is global, and this auction reflects his unique perspective.”

Among the standout pieces available for bidding is a Dior x Nike Air Jordan 1 High sneaker, numbered 0001 of 8500, estimated at $15,000 to $20,000. First introduced during the Dior Men Pre-Fall 2020 show in Miami, this sneaker redefined the relationship between high fashion and street style.
Another key item is an original Hajime Sorayama painting, estimated at $5,000 to $7,000. Sorayama collaborated with Jones on the Dior Men Pre-Fall 2019 collection, which honored Christian Dior’s artistic roots and affinity for Japanese culture. Following the show in Japan, Sorayama gifted this painting to Jones.

The Louis Vuitton x Supreme Monogram Carpet, estimated at $10,000 to $15,000, represents one of the most talked-about collaborations in fashion history. In 2017, Jones united two powerhouse brands, bringing high fashion and streetwear together in a way that reshaped the industry. This exclusive carpet, originally placed in his personal office, stands as a reminder of that groundbreaking partnership.
Collectors will also find a Dior x Travis Scott Tan Leather Double Saddle Bag, valued between $5,000 and $7,000. Designed for the Dior Spring 2022 Menswear collection, only two exist, one remains in Travis Scott’s personal collection, making this a rare opportunity to own a piece from that collaboration.

Another standout is a Dior x Kenny Scharf one-of-a-kind embroidered shirt, estimated at $3,000 to $4,000. Created for Dior Men Pre-Fall 2021, this shirt required nearly 300 custom-dyed silk yarns to replicate Scharf’s artwork. Dior enlisted skilled Chinese artisans to craft the intricate seed embroidery, making this piece a true work of art.
Through this auction, Kim Jones not only showcases his influence across fashion and design but also extends his impact into conservation efforts. JOOPITER’s platform offers collectors and fans a chance to own a part of his journey, pieces that have shaped his career and collaborations.
