The collection reimagined the traditional rain jacket, incorporating innovative, lightweight materials to craft designs ideal for modern lifestyles. The show featured a variety of outerwear pieces, each designed for versatility and comfort in transitional weather. Notably, a redesigned cape model captured attention with its blend of classic style and functional innovation, complete with a cozy wool jersey lining.

The event was styled by the talented Elena Tejedor, who combined softness with structural precision to enhance its appeal. The lineup included a range of garments from knitwear and nylon-blended skirts to redesigned cargo pants and scuba-inspired dresses. Each piece was crafted to redefine traditional silhouettes through a contemporary lens, with added touches like a uniquely padded bodysuit that brought an unexpected twist to the collection.

In a creative collaboration, K-Way partnered with the Parisian label CAHU to create a series of statement bags that melded CAHU’s renowned PVC material with K-Way’s signature nylon. The collaboration resulted in vibrant, functional accessories perfectly aligned with the themes of innovation and design that defined the collection.

The evening also featured the “In Y/Our Life” exhibition, an exclusive event that followed the runway show. This installation offered a deeper look into K-Way’s influence on everyday life through interactive installations and narratives that spanned its six-decade history. The exhibition, curated by Agostino Iacurci, created an immersive environment that engaged visitors with elements of wind and rain, key aspects of K-Way’s design philosophy.

As the exhibition progressed, it showcased K-Way’s collaborative projects with iconic brands like Polaroid and Rollerblade, highlighting the brand’s pioneering role in merging fashion with functionality. This retrospective and forward-looking event not only celebrated K-Way’s storied past but also spotlighted its ongoing commitment to innovation, ensuring the brand’s relevance and vitality in the fashion industry for years to come.
