ART
The works of the 2025 finalists display a compelling mix of innovation and tradition, often reinterpreting age-old craft techniques in new materials. For instance, basketry techniques are applied to clay, while metal is used in weaving traditionally done with a loom. These works not only celebrate craftsmanship but also engage with the rich legacy of oral traditions, rituals, and cultural knowledge passed down through generations.
