For the presentation of her colourful, playful and glittering Fall Winter 2025 line, Austrian designer Marina Hoermanseder invited her audience to an unforgettable celebration, a “Birthday Party“. With that glamorous event, she celebrated the anniversary of her successful brand which she founded over a decade ago. In her latest line, she stayed true to her signature style but added a bunch of refreshing, innovative ideas.

As location, the historic Hotel Oderberger, was chosen. It was designed in 1898 by architect Ludwig Hoffmann as “Stadtbad Oderberger” to support the at that time rapidly growing district of Prenzlauer Berg with public institutions. It closed in 1986 until intensive renovations began in 2012. In January 2016, it opened again as “Hotel Oderberger”. These days the pool area is often used for events and since October 17th, 2016, the swimming pool was re-opened. This historic setting was transformed into a vivid display of balloons and oversized bows which built the stage for a colourful and surreal exploration of celebration and style.
Marina Hoermanseder’s Autum Winter 2025 line tells the story of a perfect Birthday party that turns into an unforgettable day for everyone attending it. What must not be missing anew in this range are her signature orthopedic vegan leather creations with bold paintings, the most unique silhouettes, and complex embellishments. The detail-awareness of this line certainly stays in mind, especially several pieces and whole looks which are made of tiny Lego Bricks in the most colourful hues. Applications appear in the most unique forms, for example as cherries, flowers (roses, orchids and gypsophila), balloons or googly eyes.
The designer took her inspiration from the art of patisserie. That theme is expressed in fine piping, tiny dragees, and birthday candles. Therefore each of her looks is transformed into a wearable artwork. The cake vase is, without any doubt, the standout highlight of these extraordinary, incredibly creative designs. What makes this collection so special as well is the creative play and rich variety of various materials: for instance glossy organza, delicate tulle ruffles, and elegant satin roses give the creations a rather soft overall impression. On the other hand, hard vegan leather designs are introduced in totally new shapes, which remind us of origami. They are often finished with jagged, torn edges.
Vegan leather balloons, oversized bows, colourful flowers and googly eyes radiate a nostalgic flair and a feeling of carefree happiness. Moreover sparkling rhinestones underline the festive and glamorous mood of several creations. Contrary elements are preferably united: for example surreal accents are merged with urban sophistication. Dark, Berlin-inspired influences like sharp silhouettes, emphasized shoulders, and eye-catching belts contribute to the contemporary, bold energy of this line. Therefore a highly unique balance between contrasting influences is created.
The colour palette consists of a lot of bold, eye-popping nuances, such as lemon, scarlet, azure, fuchsia and electric violet. In addition to that, a lot of candy colours are applied, such as bubblegum pink, raspberry pink, peach pink, macaroon, mint, lime, blueberry candy and plum candy. Sparkling silver and shimmering gold build interesting highlights and appear endlessly elegant. Some timeless tones are repeatedly used as well, for instance sheer white, night black and cognac.
Highlights of this collection are the triple-star and cake vase, which both appear in the most unique creations that are made of a high standard of artisanal skill.
Marina Hoermanseder’s Autumn Winter 2025 collection creatively plays with contrasts, merging playfulness with elegance, and celebrates life and the joy of self-expression, fantasy and living freely as we know it from the designer’s previous lines.
