ROTATE‘s FW25 collection, After Hours, embraces an air of effortless glamour, channeling the appeal of its fictional muse. The collection imagines a woman who commands attention the moment she enters a room, her floor-length coat slipping off her shoulder, revealing a sleek silhouette beneath. It is a tribute to the classic elegance of vintage fashion editorials, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. This season, ROTATE leans into luxurious outerwear, refined eveningwear, and powerful tailoring, all while maintaining the brand’s signature play on contrasts.

Outerwear serves as both the opening and closing statement of the collection, setting the tone for the season’s opulent yet pragmatic approach. ROTATE embraces Scandinavian winters with plush faux fur coats in foxy brown, deep burgundy, and crisp white, each evoking warmth and sophistication. Structured leather outerwear brings a bold edge, seen in a sculpted peplum jacket, a long-line coat, and a cropped puffer, while cinched-waist wool coats with extravagant faux fur trims inject a sense of grandeur. The interplay of texture and silhouette defines the collection’s outerwear, making it as much about drama as it is about function.
Beneath the statement coats, ROTATE presents an array of pieces that blend sensuality with structure. Velvet cocktail dresses and tailored sets bring a nostalgic touch, while wool knits incorporate unexpected details like lace-up sleeves, built-in scarves, and intricate cable designs. Soft chiffon and silk satin add fluidity, with high necks, balloon sleeves, and floor-grazing hems creating silhouettes that are both minimal and extravagant. Sequins remain an essential element of the brand’s DNA, with shimmering tassels and ombré embellishments appearing on dresses and separates, exuding a sophisticated playfulness.
Menswear-inspired suits, constructed in pinstripe and check fabrics, feature suspender details and sharp shoulders, yet retain an undeniable femininity through hourglass cuts, ballooned sleeves, and sculpted waistbands. Denim disrupts the collection’s polish, introducing a casual yet deliberate counterpoint. Dark raw denim is shaped into cocoon jeans and skinny fits, while the brand’s signature 3D floral embellishments appear in unexpected places, adding depth to the otherwise pared-down fabric.
ROTATE’s approach to color this season leans into rich, wintery hues. Deep black, burgundy, and chocolate brown form the foundation, offset by soft creams and touches of fiery red and burnt orange. While prints take a backseat, leopard print makes a calculated appearance, adding a dose of untamed energy to a slim-fitting pant and a voluminous dress.
The collection debuts at Copenhagen Contemporary, transforming the space into an immersive fusion of fashion and sound. A stage of towering speakers and bold lighting sets the mood, with a live performance by DJ and Music Director Tarzsa Williams fueling the energy. ROTATE also partners with Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, with brand muse Bella Broekman-Tilbury embodying the refined glow of the ROTATE woman. Dyson, led by hair artist Cim Mahony, completes the look, ensuring the beauty direction mirrors the collection’s elevated aesthetic.
