The up and coming fashion designer Eddy Anemian who is the H&M Design Award 2014 Winner has just presented his capsule collection for the clothing giant. His masterful techniques have come to life in the intricate capsule collection closely developed with the H&M in-house design team. The garments quintessentially elegant embody the vision of contemporary womenswear, Eddy’s designs are to hit the shelves of select H&M stores as on October 23rd, the collection is also available for order online.
“I had such a good experience creating the collection with H&M. They really respected the idea of the collection, translating my couture cutting and sewing techniques. It was like seeing my clothes made real.” – said the award winning designer Eddy Anemian.
While creating his winning collection Anemian was inspired the fashion icon Tilda Swinton and her character in the movie I AM LOVE. Eddy has also found inspiration in the opulent work of French painter Ingres, whose unique floral sentiment is hinted in the collection.

The H&M Design Award started back in 2012 and grew in what is now an annual prize progressing the vision of young fashion graduates just at the beginning of their journey. H&M not only helps them create, produce and sell their capsule collections, but also showcases their design vision to their unparalleled massive audience of buyers.
