Jeux De Scene story captured with ballet star Sergei Polunin posing for Numero Homme session by fashion photographer Jacob Sutton. Sergei might have been relatively unknown when the story was photographed, however the dance’s moves were seen by more than 5 million people in only a few days.
Sergei is a star of the new Take Me To Church video for Hozier‘s new single, directed by the legendary David LaChapelle. The dancer is now definitely experiencing a super-nova moment. Not to dismiss the fact Polunin was quite known to the ballet scene, he has become the principal dancer at the Royal Ballet at the age of 19. In early 2013 Sergei has surprisingly quit his position at the famed house, in search for more freedom and to explore different directions.
Nevertheless going back to the story, which was elegantly styled by Jean Michel Clerc for Numero Homme’s fall winter 2014 edition. Sergei wears elegant coats and pieces from Canali, Dries Van Noten, Dsquared2, Ermengildo Zegna Couture, Berluti, PRADA, Lanvin, Dior Homme, and Berluti to name a few.
Hair styling and grooming handled by Matt Mulhall at Streeters, set design Jake Sutton. Retouching Studio RM, production Sarah Clements at D+V Management.
