Designer: Gary Card
If you ever came across some of Dazed magazines very own editorials, perhaps you were wondering who on earth came up with those wild sets, props and illustrations used in the background or even in the styling of models, well that is Gary Card. Gary is a 27 year old set designer, born in Bournemouth – Britain, graduated from Central Saint Martins. Besides Dazed magazine, everyone from The New York Times to Comme Des Garcons and Uniqlo has commisioned Card, and I am sure we will be seing plenty more of his work in the future. Place where you are the most likely to see his work is in editorials styled by Nicola Formichetti, the two are working together for over 5 years, you can view more of Garys artwork at his blogspot page.
