With dawn of Recession passing our doors, luxury brands have nothing to worry about, with no hesitation leading head designers point out that there are plenty of buyers on the east. Show "Christian Dior and Chinese Artists" pretty much proves that, once again pointing out the existing hunger for western fashion and modern art on the far east, here's Christian Dior brand as inspiration in the artworks of the most talented of China's art scene. Highlights of the show include Zhang Dali’s portrait of Dior designer John Galliano using repeating tonal “AK-47” text, Wang Qingsong's s last supper photo featuring Dior-clad models and the artist himself in hospital pajamas as Christ titled “Nutrients”, “The stranger in the glass box,” by Quentin Shih and “Worker Peasant Businessman Student Soldier,” by Zhang Xiaogang (all of the mentioned artworks displayed on the photos above).
