British designer Jasper Conran took the London Fashion Week to present his Fall Winter 16 womenswear collection. The collection is a mixture of geometrical patterns and prints inspired by art and architecture.
FALL WINTER 2016 WOMENSWEAR COLLECTIONS
Long blunt cut hair, hat pulled down. A softly militaristic attitude with patch pockets, epaulettes and bindings. Over coats and jackets with a masculine approach. Shirts and dresses split front, back and side. Geometry in pattern and print – bold and graphic yet stripped back. Art and architecture inspire. Colour moves from graphic blocks of navy, white and brown to greens, ochres, pinks, oranges and Crayola stripes. At its core – quality and precision in material and make. Jersey outlined with bound seams. Prints hand screened on silk. Patterns engineered into wool and cashmere. – from Jasper Conran
