Dancer, actress and model Maddie Ziegler takes one of Hunger Magazine‘s 5th Birthday edition cover stories captured by fashion photographer David Roemer at Atelier Management. In charge of styling was Alison Edmond, with makeup by Kathy Jeung at Forward Artists, manicure by Marisa Carmichael, and hair styling by Chris McMillan at Solo Artists.
Maddie on moving into acting
“My lifelong dream is to get a main role in a movie, and I really hope that happens one day.“
Maddie on working with Sia
“Well, the music videos that I’ve done with Sia are really deep and serious, very different to being on Dance Moms, and I definitely think that they have helped me with my first movie, which was much more of a drama. The videos taught me that I’m able to just put myself out there and not be afraid to be whatever crazy character I’m given”
Maddie on dealing with fame / social media
“I don’t really look at my Instagram or Twitter comments because people do spread rumours and make rude comments, but to be honest they’re obviously people who don’t have anything better to do than make fun of people. And I haven’t got time for that!”
