Created in 2008 The Prix Émile Hermès is here to support creativity of young designers, focusing on both visual and performing arts. The second Prix Émile Hermès comes as an international competition open to entrants all over the world, with theme "Heat, me-heat, re-heat".
If you're less than 40 years old, student, graduate or a professional in field of design this is a great opportunity to showcase your work and even earn funds for your future projects. For more details view the official press release after the jump:
The Prix Émile Hermès is aimed at:
• professional designers, graduates from schools of design, architecture, decorative ats, fine arts, or engineers.
• professional, non-graduate designers or engineers with at least three years' proven experience in the field of design;
• final-year students on masters programmes at schools of design, industrial design, architecture and the visual, applied or decorative arts.
Entrants must be aged 40 years or under by 30 November 2010.
The members of the jury and the theme will be announced on September 15, 2010, along with the call for entries for the award.
Amount of the award:
