Designer Daniel w. Fletcher presented his Fall Winter 2018.19 collection, inspired by the 1980s rebellious youth, and the idea of taking traditional looks and making them into something new, during the recently finished London Fashion Week Men’s.
AUTUMN WINTER 2018 RUNWAYS
“This sense of unruly play is mirrored in the sturdy wooden forms and expressive painterly backdrop that create the season’s set; a collaboration between artists Fenella Brereton & Abigail Fletcher – and paintings by the designer himself. These paintings are writ large on canvases leaning against the wall, also seen rendered in collection prints on silk shirts and jersey.
This collection is about leisure and freedom in its own way; through craft, through expression, through diversity. AW18 doesn’t scream, it’s quiet, it’s considered and it’s right.“
