Discover GAUCHERE Fall Winter 2022.23 Collection, that explores minimalist aesthetic, presented under the arcades of Rue de Rivoli – in the neighbourhood of the brand’s studio, as part of the ongoing Paris Fashion Week. The 35 looks collection captures the energy of the moment, while also focusing on permanence and timelessness. The mostly monochrome colour palette is restrained, and it features black, anthracite, navy, a dark burgundy, heather grey, sand and taupe. Designer Marie-Christine Statz brings intuitive designs to express the mood of today, and she also highlights individuality, with the art of tailoring. In charge of photography was Kira Bunse, with styling from Sheila Single, and casting direction by Paul Louisor. Beauty is work of hair stylist Christian Eberhard, and makeup artist Anthony Preel.
FALL WINTER 2022.23 COLLECTIONS
“The signature suiting continues to emphasise a wide shoulder but is shown with long narrow silhouettes. Coats, jackets, wide trousers and below the knee skirts are cut from three dimensional fabrics such as coated or padded cotton, patent leather, double faced cashmere wool, pinstriped menswear wool and fuzzy tech yarns. The dresses range from long versions made of granular viscose with open v-neck back and a high slit, off-the-shoulder mini dresses made of mouliné jersey to sharp-shoulder all-over sequin styles. Deconstructed denim is paired with versatile piped one shoulder tops. A blown-up blurry photo print on ?uid silk adds a vibrant retro softness.” – from Gauchere
