Italian brand QUIRA presented their Spring Summer 2023 Collection with a presentation held today during the ongoing Milano Fashion Week. The collection focuses on the body, and explores notions of the liquid and the languid. For this season, the accent is on draping, bows and outsized neckerchief panels, allowing further playfulness. Brand founder and designer Veronica Leoni is also focusing on the idea of the item as a future collectible meant to entice personal interpretations.
SPRING SUMMER 2023 COLLECTIONS
The repertoire includes collarless coats, neat graphic coats, blazers with high buttoning, striped and textured coats, shoulderless double breasted blazers, liquid blouses and shirtdresses, draped tunics, ribbed dresses, shoulderless dresses, wide pants, cropped pants. Sheer jumpers and vests trigger superimposition and layerings that reveal the forms instead of covering them. – from Quira
The choice of materials expands too, with the rather familiar crisp tailoring wools, technical cotton twills, technical cotton gabardines, cotton poplins and textured linens welcoming crinkled silk duchesse, chalked crinkled linen, polka dot jacquard cupro, stone washed crepe de chine, washed silk poplin, cotton jersey. Thick fluid viscose, basketweave bonded linen and soft guanteria nappa provide both firmness and lightness. – from Quira
