Swedish brand OUR LEGACY, known for applying custom-developed fabrics on signature shapes, has launched a 12-piece exclusive WORK SHOP collection with November Orchid campaign. The pieces were alll made in the UK and/or from UK-made deadstock fabrics. The collection consists of suits and coats in residual British fabrics, knitwear made in Scotland of leftover yarns, shirting made of deadstock Harris Tweed hand-woven wools, and Baracuta G9 Harrington jackets made in London out of upcycled Our Legacy fabrics.
CAPSULE COLLECTIONS
The collection is based on the appreciation of the craftsmanship and the fabric weaving, knitting and shoemaking excellence being tucked into the British Isles. Looking from afar it´s of course easy to romanticize around the idea of a small factory doing what they´ve always done, but the actual ways of producing something long-lasting in a wholesome way is something we deeply respect and aspire to. We have put together our dream collection of OUR LEGACY tweaked classic UK diehards, the double-breasted suit, the raincoat, the Harrington and the Scottish virgin wool knit, iconic and timeless, all done the OUR LEGACY WORK SHOP way using deadstock and residual fabrics. – Jockum Hallin, OUR LEGACY
