Fashion brand APUJAN unveiled its Fall Winter 2023 Collection, that celebrates the brand’s 10th anniversary, on February 20th, during the recently finished London Fashion Week. The collection titled The Other End of Nowhere was inspired by Chinese novel Journey to the West and presented with a fashion film produced by Rachel Chen and directed by the brand’s creative director Apu Jan. The story is told through the lens of director of photography Chi-Ming Lu, while the music was produced by DJ So Lonely. Stars of the film are Yao Ai Ning, Kenny Yen and Josie Lin, joined by special guests AcQua and Rakuten Girls, Aviva and Kimi, and models Candice Li, Chuyong Chen, Kate Tsai, Yuhan Huang, Wei-Ting Lin, Vanessa Pan, Yihui Shi, and Yu-xuan Pan. The collection pieces feature symbols from the novel such as the monkey insignia referencing the character of the phantom thief, the stolen peach, and white horses. For the season, Apujan explores romanticism and hidden desire, and fuses East and West, past and future.
