The highly anticipated FENDI x Marc Jacobs capsule collection for Summer 2023 has been released. Fendi has officially debuted the Marc Jacobs component of the multi-collaboration Resort 2023 collection, which was first shown at New York Fashion Week and saw the Italian luxury company collaborate with the likes of Tiffany & Co., Sarah Jessica Parker, and Porter to co-design important classics. Collaborators honored the 25th anniversary of the FENDI Baguette Bag with this collection. Using the house rules of FENDI Roma, Marc Jacobs expands his creative abilities by fusing his own style into brand-new statement items. For this collection, Jacobs combines the ready-to-wear silhouette from the turn of the century with contemporary themes from modern life. Jacobs’ capsule line is reminiscent of New York’s “Gilded Age,” particularly in terms of forms and commonplace objects.
CAPSULE COLLECTIONS
The collection’s silvery, dazzling, grey, white, neon yellow, and black palette plays with fantasy and reality. The Italian luxury brand FENDI ROMA is incorporated into the current utilitarian trend with a distressed oversize denim jacket and leggings that have an all-over “FENDI ROMA” spring print. Cropped t-shirts and hoodies are worn with loose, parachute pants that have several pockets. Acid and enzyme washes are also used to create broken denim, and occasionally coating and lengthening is applied to emphasize the silhouette. Along with the baguette sweatshirts, the Baguette bag is redesigned, and the front pocket has the entire specifications of the Maxi Baguette bag. It has the FF logo buckles in silver hardware, accessories with the numerous Nano Baguette utility belt, and multi-pocket cargo pants and jacket.
