Fashion brand SPORTMAX presented its Pre-Fall 2023 New Classicism Collection that features archetypal pieces, conceived with minimal, androgynous, and eternal allure. The collection fuses utilitarian and intimate style, and brings a fresh take on core wardrobe. The classics such as the trench, the bold-shouldered masculine blazer, bow-collared button-down and pleated trousers are reimagined with a subtle dash of irreverence, and transformed into contemporary pieces.

“The two seemingly distant worlds of daywear and eveningwear collide in a dialogue infused with dashes of ever-evolving glam, constantly at play with irony and deliberately kitsch references. The absolute simplicity of a two-button jacket marries the sharp sensuality of a mini wrap skirt, or a knee-length slip dress embellished with a lace-trimmed slit. The cocktail dress is put forth with a bare shoulder design that comes alive at the fringe with feather trim. The white shirt is enhanced with exaggerated cuffs that cover the hands, as well as an ultra-sophisticated, floor-sweeping sleeveless party dress, in a linear silhouette fashioned in the purest of form. Accessories alternate between high-heeled moccasins with a large square buckle and à la garçonne flats.” – from Spormax

Fashion photographer Thue Nørgaard captured the lookbook featuring models Nyawurh Chuol and Tanya Churbanova. In charge of styling was Elodie David Touboul, with casting direction from Giulia Massullo.
