Fashion brand MARA HOFFMAN unveiled its Resort 2024 Collection that was inspired by the captivating dance between the Matador and the Flamenco dancer. The brand celebrates feminine silhouettes while incorporating masculine touches, resulting in a sophisticated collection of separates, suiting, swimwear, and occasionwear. The collection allows the wearer to explore various climates as it transitions from the colder autumn season to the escapism of resort living. The pieces are designed to be versatile, suitable for the seaside but also suitable for layering in colder climates or deconstructed for warm vacations.
The collection reintroduces key silhouettes and introduces new designs, all of which are adorned with exclusive prints and a vibrant color palette. Sustainability is at the forefront of the design process, and Mara Hoffman remains committed to employing fabrics that reflect the brand values. Fabrics such as TENCEL™ Lyocell, Hemp, and Linen are featured prominently to demonstrate the brand’s commitment to the environment. The custom-designed Olea print, featured on hemp fabric, signifies the arrival of warmer months while conserving fabric and water through digital printing. Two new silhouettes, the Salma and Raquel dresses, in a striking hot pink color, showcase the brand’s affinity for proportion and volume.
Known for its distinctive texture, Mara Hoffman‘s signature popcorn fabric adds dimension and accentuates the shapes in this collection. The Luna dress interprets the textured fabric in a highly sculptural manner. The Luna and Bindi dresses feature a new artisan technique with a floral treatment. Day dresses play a significant role in emphasizing the artistic approach of the collection. With its voluminous and sculpted sleeves, the Colleen dress is an everyday essential that makes a statement. The Sicily Stripe fabric, originating from the Spring 2020 collection and composed of a cotton TENCEL™ blend, introduces the Suki top. The use of geometric shapes creates visual intrigue and draws attention to the décolleté.
Continuing its Climate Beneficial initiative, the brand presents the recurring Juliana sweater, procuring the wool for the sweaters in California and knitting them there. In addition, the collection includes the Rust-colored PYRATEX™ Power 3 fabric, which is composed of 89% TENCEL™ lyocell x micro and 11% elastane. The new collection by Mara Hoffman combines artistry, sustainability, and a vibrant aesthetic with a variety of versatile and environmentally conscious pieces that celebrate the beauty and strength of femininity.
