Peter Do‘s highly-anticipated collaboration with Banana Republic has finally made its debut, and it’s turning minimalism into something undeniably edgy. The collection, now available, offers a unique blend of Do’s signature subversive style and Banana Republic’s refined design principles, comprising a total of 28 pieces.
CAPSULE COLLECTIONS

The collection primarily focuses on outerwear, where traditional Banana Republic silhouettes are reimagined through the lens of Do’s multifunctional vision. One standout piece is the Detachable Utility Trench, crafted from waxed cotton-nylon twill.

This innovative design features a reversible construction with a vintage map of Brooklyn on one side and a detachable shearling cape for added warmth.

The Tuxedo Utility Blazer takes an oversized approach, incorporating leather lapels for a bold statement, while the City Coat boasts an Italian wool-blend composition with contrasting leather patches and a removable shearling shawl collar.

Shirting in this collection takes a contemporary spin on wardrobe staples. The Sweater Henley Tank, for instance, boasts a multi-layered finish knitted with fine-gauge viscose-nylon fibers. On the other hand, the Leather Utility Shirt combines contrasting panels of lambskin leather and goat suede.

The collection also revisits classic trousers, with the Artisan Pants adopting a wide-legged, deep-pocketed style and the Tuxedo Drill Trousers elevating formal wear with silk-satin stripes, pleats, and an adjustable-tab waistband. The collection is completed with printed silk twill scarves featuring aged city maps in black and white tones.

The Banana Republic x Peter Do collection is now available for purchase on the BR website and in their physical stores. Prices range from $100 USD to $1,200 USD, making this unique collaboration accessible to a wide range of fashion enthusiasts.
