The Brioni spirit is defined by its emphasis on the human touch, where the essence of tailoring is to create garments that seamlessly integrate with the wearer’s body and personality. This approach is maintained by skilled artisans whose hands not only craft the clothes but also carry a wealth of knowledge passed down through generations. This knowledge flows effortlessly within the House ateliers, ensuring the continuity of Brioni’s exceptional craftsmanship. In the upcoming season, elements of Brioni’s workshops, such as sketches, fabric samples, and a tapestry from the in-house Arazzeria Pennese (Penne tapestry), are showcased at the Circolo Filologico Milanese. This venue, a hub of intellectual and cultural exploration, perfectly reflects Brioni’s craftsmanship. The space, typically devoted to philological culture, transforms into a natural habitat for Brioni’s non-bookish craftsmanship, fostering a realm of research, self-expression, and aesthetic sensibility.

The Fall/Winter 2024 collection is a further exploration of Brioni’s core principles: weightlessness, ease, and precision. It expands into new categories, blending sportswear with tailored refinement and introducing lighter, more comfortable tailoring. The collection, traversing earthy shades of vicuña, camel, coffee brown, and midnight blue with desaturated black, white, and ice accents, includes welcoming coats, blazers, fluid trench coats, and jackets with leather detailing. Lightweight duvets, trousers with fuller volumes, and knitwear emphasize freedom of movement. The collection also features field jackets, blousons, and anoraks that subtly nod to leisurewear and sports, presented in a composed manner. Accessories like supple trainers and generous, deconstructed totes and briefcases echo the theme of lightness. As evening approaches, the collection takes on a Venetian-inspired palette reminiscent of Mariano Fortuny’s artistry, featuring dinner jackets, tuxedos, and Arlequin intarsia. The signature Brioni herringbone fabric is elevated to Couture in a silk jacket intricately embroidered with glass beads, showcasing opulent fabrics handled with delicate care.

La Donna, Brioni’s women’s line, continues to evolve, riffing on the interplay of masculine and feminine elements. Trousers, shirts, coats, and dinner jackets are directly inspired by the tailoring wardrobe, maintaining the brand’s signature elegance and sophistication. At the heart of Brioni’s philosophy are the hands of the artisans: hands that touch, make, know, and wear. These hands are the unifying thread that weaves together the entire collection, and brands dedication to craftsmanship, style, and the intimate connection between the creator and the creation.
