The 2024 iteration of the Le City Bag is crafted from the luxurious Arena leather and incorporates various elements from Balenciaga’s rich archive. This reinvention of a classic is marked by its attention to vintage details, including original-sized studs, laced zipper pulls, and lacquered leather handles and straps. The result is a new classic that pays homage to Balenciaga’s storied history while remaining firmly grounded in contemporary fashion.
The campaign features newly announced brand ambassador Kim Kardashian, who poses amidst the backdrop of her own personal closet. Joining her are actresses Roh Yoon Seo and Nicola Peltz, model Paloma Elsesser, renowned costume designer and stylist Patricia Field, and style influencer Devon Lee Carlson. Each personality is showcased in museum-like closet spaces, designed to exhibit an archive of their coveted personal objects, adding a deeply personal touch to the campaign.
