The latest collaboration between PUMA and STAPLE, unveiled in Herzogenaurach on January 29, 2024, ushers in the Lunar New Year with a special tribute to the Year of the Dragon. This collection marries the classic elements of STAPLE’s design, including the original “S” dragon logo and the signature color palette of black, gray, and pink, with the traditional graphics that celebrate the rich craft and traditions of the Lunar New Year.
In an inspired move to showcase the collection, PUMA and STAPLE have joined forces with The New York Chinese Freemasons Athletic Club (CFMAC), the oldest Chinese lion dance club in New York City, to serve as the campaign’s special guest talent. Founded in 1956, CFMAC is dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional Chinese heritage among the youth through lion dance, martial arts, and athletics, building a sense of community, teamwork, and leadership. This collaboration highlights both the vibrancy and dynamism of the collection as well as a commitment to cultural education and heritage. With apparel and sneakers priced between $45 and $130, they are available for purchase starting January 30th on staplepigeon.com and from February 1st on PUMA official website.
