The Alabama Muse Fall-Winter 24/25 collection, envisioned by Alice Gentilucci, is an homage to the neo-bourgeois spirit reminiscent of the 1970s’ cinema and the high society of European capitals. Channeling the allure of figures like Romy Schneider and Catherine Deneuve, this collection introduces their modern-day counterparts: muses of the contemporary era who give off bohemian soulfulness. Gentilucci’s creations incorporate animal-friendly fur into a wardrobe that pulsates with a sparkling, charming, and irresistibly foxy sensuality.
The collection’s French touch is evident in the tailored suits featuring mini wrap skirts decorated with soft marmot fur in powder pink, finished with seal edging and macro pearls that double as buttons. These pieces are designed to pair with demure bon ton coats or ankle-length trenches. The palette and textures expand into a patchwork of greys, blending seal mantle with baby lamb and Mongolia fur across a range of garments from long coats to vests.
In a nod to vintage glamour, the collection revives the fawn mink in a granny style, applied to long coats with oversized lapels that project a masculine aura. This retro inspiration continues with the return of the round neck micro jacket, including a cropped version, channeling the spirit of Jane Birkin for the 21st century. Accompanied by mini skirts and hats, these pieces have a bourgeois flair, further emphasized by the pony pattern with cerulean patches over rouge noir fur. The collection also includes eco-leather buttons and voluminous lapels alongside rice stitch knits with pom poms and geometric patterns.
The Alabama Muse collection also reveals black and white jacquard patterns over long hair kidassia fur, in an array of pieces from long coats to rock jackets and vests, down to mini skirts designed to reveal the body, coupled with jersey tank tops belted with detachable marmot fur.
