On February 27th, 2024, at Paris Fashion Week, Victoria Feldman and Tomas Berzins unveiled their highly anticipated Fall Winter 2024-2025 Womenswear Collection titled “Le Baiser” (The Kiss) – an ode to passion and protection inspired by the iconic sculpture of the same name by Rodin. During a visit to the renowned Rodin Museum in Paris, Victoria and Tomas were mesmerized by the timeless elegance of “Le Baiser.” The sculpture’s juxtaposition of warm, fluid movements against cold, heavy marble served as the foundation for their collection. Drawing inspiration from Rodin’s technique of merging originally independent elements to create something new, the designers crafted pieces that exuded both sensuality and strength.
Incorporating heavy scarves seamlessly into jackets, coats, and cardigans, the collection offered a cozy yet undeniably Parisian aesthetic. Cropped shirts, marinières, and mini skirts took on a new dimension as they hugged the body, while leather pieces made a bold statement, reintroducing a category first introduced at the Festival d’Hyères a decade ago.
Kamiwaki’s photographs captured the essence of “Le Baiser” collection, showcasing the sensual yet fragile silhouettes and the strong attitude they embodied. Through their innovative designs, Victoria Feldman and Tomas Berzins once again proved their mastery in redefining contemporary femininity, leaving an indelible mark on the runway at Paris Fashion Week.
