The BOTTER x Reebok Energia Bo Két collaboration debuted in BOTTER’s Spring Summer 2024 collection during Paris Fashion Week. This sneaker line melds the aesthetic sensibilities of the Dutch fashion label with Reebok’s long-standing heritage in athletic footwear. Inspired by the dynamics of soccer and climbing, the Energia Bo Két sneakers are a blend of both, featuring vintage cues from Reebok’s archival soccer boots from the early 2000s and climbing shoes from the 1990s. This blend results in a footwear collection that is as innovative as it is nostalgic, aimed at those who appreciate a sophisticated edge in their athletic gear.

The design of the Energia Bo Két is crafted to highlight functionality while pushing the conventional sneaker aesthetics. The sneaker has a deconstructed leather upper, a signature style move that adds a layer of texture and visual interest. The folded tongue, a nod to Reebok’s soccer footwear archives, along with the rubber wrap guard, which comes from the robustness of climbing shoes, give this model both durability and a distinctive look. The integration of BOTTER’s artistic vision is evident in the molding patterns and the extended eyelet design.

Colorways play a significant role in the appeal of the Energia Bo Két, with options including Yellow/Blue, Aqua Blue/Blue, Black, and White/Beige. Each color scheme enhances the design elements, making the sneakers versatile enough to pair with a wide range of outfits. The vibrant hues and the contrasting patterns ensure that these sneakers stand out, while the black and white models offer a more muted options.

Beyond the sneakers themselves, the collaboration extends to a range of apparel, which includes a trompe l’oeil-effect T-shirt, a patterned soccer jersey, layered polos, tracksuits, and socks. This apparel collection complements the footwear with similar themes and color palettes, designed to offer a cohesive look. The apparel, much like the footwear, combines practical elements with creative design.

The BOTTER x Reebok Energia Bo Két collaboration is priced at $330 USD per pair, available through Reebok’s EU site and selected global retailers. Take a closer look at the sneakers in the Gallery below:

wow i love botter! I know it is a small brand and their ready to wear pieces are for that same reason often very expensive but I am excited about this collaboration they have with Reebok and i hope it allows them to grow. Rooting for Botter here!
I get you but I am not sure anybody who cares about Reebok cares about Botter – they wont even connect this. To be honest also for reebok i am not sure how good this is, the ‘designer fashion’ sneakers hold no place for sneakerheads… they also bring no value and realistically on the market they also don’t have any better or bigger value
