The six-track album was introduced through a colorful poster, revealing collaborations with notable artists and producers. The lead track, “Running Wild,” is co-written with Gary Barlow of Take That, adding a dynamic touch to the project. Another standout is “Falling,” which features contributions from Taka and Toru of Japanese rock band One OK Rock. The album also includes the pre-release single “I’ll Be There,” alongside other songs like “Another Level,” “Heart on the Window” featuring Wendy, and “I Will Come to You.”

Jin describes Happy as a reflection of his journey to “discover true happiness,” hoping that listeners will also find joy through his music. The album builds on Jin’s past solo efforts, including “Super Tuna” and “The Astronaut,” a song he co-wrote with Coldplay before enlisting in the military in 2022.
In addition to Barlow, Taka, and Toru, the album boasts production credits from Pdogg, Ghstloop, Arcades, Evan, Matt Attard, and Joshua Thompson. This blend of talents ensures a diverse musical experience, ranging from emotional ballads to uplifting anthems.
Jin has kept busy since completing his military service, participating in events such as the 2024 Paris Olympic Torch Relay and taking on new projects, including an upcoming Netflix variety show, Kian’s Bizarre B&B. He’s been vocal about balancing music and television appearances, reassuring fans that more exciting projects are on the way: “I’m working on recording music and filming variety shows. The results will be out in a few months, so please wait a little longer.”
With Happy set to arrive next month, anticipation continues to grow among fans eager to see Jin’s evolution as a solo artist. This release promises not only personal storytelling but also dynamic collaborations, cementing Jin’s path as a solo force in the music industry.
