Nike Presents the Futuristic “Sea Glass” Collection

Nike’s “Sea Glass” collection offers customizable looks with a cutting-edge TPU cage design

Nike is set to unveil the women’s-exclusive “Sea Glass” Pack in Spring 2025, a collection that reimagines three iconic silhouettes: the Nike Dunk Low, Nike Cortez, and Nike Air Force 1 Low. By introducing innovative TPU cages as a standout design feature, this release highlights Nike’s commitment to blending heritage with bold, futuristic aesthetics.

SNEAKERS

The TPU cages define the collection, wrapping the upper of each sneaker in a soft, translucent shell. The Nike Dunk Low and Air Force 1 Low are the most transformed, with their profiles almost entirely encased in the overlay, creating a modern, architectural appearance. The Nike Cortez opts for subtlety, using the TPU only around the swoosh, maintaining its streamlined, classic design. This functional detail is not just a visual enhancement—the TPU cages are removable and attached with pearlescent bubble fasteners, allowing wearers to customize their look.

A cohesive color palette ties the pack together, with neutral tones dominating. The Nike Dunk Low and Air Force 1 Low feature off-white bases complemented by platinum white Swooshes and detailing, offering a sleek, minimalist appeal. The Nike Cortez flips the script, showcasing a platinum white upper with off-white accents on the Swoosh and midsole. This harmonious contrast ensures each pair feels fresh yet versatile.

Material choices elevate the collection’s understated elegance. The matte leather base provides a smooth canvas for the bold TPU accents and reflective bulging Swooshes. These design elements catch light dynamically, creating a visually striking effect while maintaining a balance between innovation and wearability.

Slated for release in Spring 2025, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Sea Glass” Pack promises to be a highlight of the season. With its fusion of classic silhouettes and modern innovation, the collection is expected to turn heads and become a staple for women’s sneaker collections.
