Nike has officially unveiled the Air Max Muse, a striking new silhouette for women that merges style, innovation, and the brand’s signature Air technology. Designed with a modern edge, the Air Max Muse redefines expectations by offering a sneaker that is not only visually dynamic but also exceptionally comfortable.

This new addition to the Air Max family leverages Nike’s computational design process, where elements like size, shape, and texture are meticulously refined to create a sneaker that feels as bold as it looks. “Our goal was to design an entirely new Air Max model focused on both expression and comfort,” explains Can Eldem, Footwear Designer for Women’s Sportswear at Nike.
The Air Max Muse Black Metallic Silver debuts with softly exaggerated proportions, showcasing an iconic Air unit in the heel that is framed by a semi-gloss finish. This eye-catching feature is complemented by a heightened arch, adding a distinct, fashion-forward touch. The synthetic leather overlay on the upper introduces a mix of textures and finishes, ensuring the shoe is as versatile as it is striking.
Nike’s focus on merging innovation and aesthetics shines through in every detail of the FV1920-001 style. The silver metal launch colorway makes a bold statement, and additional vibrant color options will roll out throughout 2025, giving women a variety of styles to match their evolving wardrobes. “We wanted the finishes to surprise her, both in how they look and feel,” says Marya Chan, Materials Design Director for Nike Sportswear.
Spotted on Nike athletes Jordan Chiles and Qinwen Zheng, as well as stylist Veneda Carter, the Nike Air Max Muse is already gaining attention for its sleek design and comfort-driven engineering. Whether styled for the gym or the streets, this silhouette is set to become a wardrobe staple for women who value both performance and flair.
The Air Max Muse will be available exclusively at select Nike retail partners starting December 11, with a global release on SNKRS on January 10, 2025. Additional colorways and textures are set to launch throughout the year, ensuring the Muse remains a fresh and dynamic addition to Nike’s lineup.
