Maserati and Giorgetti joined forces for Milan Design Week 2025, revealing a collaborative effort that brings automotive design and interior craftsmanship into one frame. The Modena-based automaker introduced a bespoke Grecale Folgore SUV alongside a new furniture collection by Giorgetti, marking the beginning of their creative partnership. Both projects reflect Italian design principles through sharp execution, distinct aesthetics, and shared respect for craft.
Their collaboration centers on mutual values, technical excellence, attention to detail, and a desire to create rare experiences. Maserati and Giorgetti each draw from decades of independent success. Now, they turn their sights to innovation with a Grecale Folgore made through the Fuoriserie personalization program and an interior collection shaped by sea mythology and motion.

Santo Ficili, Maserati CEO, called the partnership a refined expression of Italian design. “We are thrilled about this partnership as it is a refined example of elegance and excellence, imbued in every detail of design and engineering,” he noted. The project aligns with Maserati’s strategy to expand its presence as a design-driven luxury brand with strong roots in Italian identity.
Giovanni del Vecchio, CEO of Giorgetti, sees the collaboration as an act of continuity and evolution. “This partnership represents the authentic expression of the identities of Giorgetti and Maserati,” he said, noting that it reinforces both brands through shared research and experimentation. For Giorgetti, a company with a 127-year history, the collaboration signals a clear intent to engage in forward-thinking design without abandoning its past.

The Giorgetti Maserati Edition interior collection uses Neptune’s Trident, Maserati’s signature emblem, as a central visual cue. The pieces take inspiration from natural forces like wind and sea, referencing the mythology that also names Maserati’s vehicles, including the Grecale. The collection reflects marine elements with names referencing legendary nymphs and the rhythm of waves.
The one-off Grecale Folgore SUV represents Maserati’s ongoing push toward electric mobility. Outfitted with an exclusive exterior color and a carefully detailed interior, the vehicle serves as a platform to showcase Giorgetti’s materials and craftsmanship in motion. Inside the car, high-end fabrics and leathers mirror those used in the furniture line, reinforcing the sense of unity across the project. Maserati describes the car as an example of “rolling tailoring,” a mobile version of luxury living.

Giancarlo Bosio, Giorgetti’s Creative Director, and Klaus Busse, Maserati’s Head of Design, led the creative effort. Together, their teams developed a design language that connects home interiors and vehicle interiors without compromising functionality or elegance.
Both the furniture collection and the customized SUV will premiere on April 7th in Milan. Giorgetti will host a preview at its Spiga showroom, while Maserati will present the Grecale Folgore Giorgetti Edition in its city showroom. On April 8th, the public will get access to view both projects.
