Clic Gallery is set to present SHOW: PHOTOGRAPHS BY HENRY HORENSTEIN. The exhibit will run from April 6 to May 2, 2010. There will be an opening reception on Thursday, April 8, from 6:30 to 9 pm, featuring a screening of the short documentary SHOW, by Henry Horenstein, Hillary Spera and William A. Anderson. HENRY HORENSTEIN was born in 1947. He is the author of numerous classic works of photography, including Animalia, Honky-Tonk, Canine, Creature and Close Relations. He is a professor at Rhode Island School of Design and lives in Boston. His photographs are in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History, the George Eastman House, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; and the Library of Congress. The subject of numerous gallery shows in the US and overseas, he is represented in New York through Clic Gallery.
